The Cheetah Chase is an annual event held in May that begins and ends at the school and is one of the Chávez family favorites! And now…It’s time for the Cheetah Chase 2024! Chávez PTO is organizing the in-person outdoor event and we look forward to seeing all 500+ participants! As we look forward to warmer weather and getting active, we’re excited to have some fun with our school community through our annual run/walk event.

Registration costs are capped at $50 per family. Scholarships available.
During registration, you’ll choose your registration pickup date on Tuesday, 5/14 from 4-6 p.m. or Wednesday 5/15 6-8 p.m. when you’ll pick up your swag at Chavez Elementary.
What: Cheetah Chase Run/Walk
The event is being held in person at Chávez. You choose your distance of 1 mile or 5k. Prefer a virtual option? That’s okay – make your own course or choose a provided neighborhood course.
When: Saturday May 18, 2024 @ 10:00am
Be sure to arrive a little early for our kickoff pep rally with our very special Chávez DJ–John Payette!
Not available on 5/18? Complete your virtual race anytime between May 18 and May 26.
After the event, you’ll have an opportunity to share pictures of your Cheetah Chase with the Chávez families community. #runcheetahrun
